Kate Haynes, Interiors stylist and founder of ‘EHG Home’, came to me shortly after I arrived back from Singapore to discuss her favourite pendant. It was given to her by a friend for her birthday, from an antique shop in Cornwall. Kate wore the pendant every day and it was very much her ‘signature' piece. It was much admired. However, Kate always wanted to make it into something exceptional. On their engagement, Ed, Kate's husband, gave Kate a stunning aquamarine and diamonds vintage style ring. When Ed commissioned the pendant, we decided to keep the vintage style and incorporate aquamarine and diamonds to tie in with her ring. The result was the sensational pendant you see pictured. It was exactly what Kate had dreamed of. Worn on a long white gold chain, it is so diverse, she rarely takes it off. We really enjoyed making a much loved piece into something incredible.
